Moravian Alumni to Discuss Careers and Network with Students

Bethlehem, Pa., November 5, 2008—Moravian College will hold its eighth Annual Student-Alumni Career Networking Reception on Tuesday, November 11, from 5 to 7 p.m., in Haupert Union Building.  Moravian College alumni representing a wide range of careers in business, education, and government will return to campus to meet with students and discuss their experiences in the workplace.

The Career Networking Reception is a gathering of alumni, faculty, staff, and local professionals who are interested in supporting current Moravian students in their career development.  “The Student-Alumni Career Networking Reception is in its eighth year of bringing Moravian students and alumni together for an evening of professional networking, and continues to be a proactive way for our students to learn about the wide range of internship and career options they will have as Moravian students and future alumni,” says Julia Gasdaska, assistant director of alumni relations at Moravian. “It is a unique opportunity for students to make connections with alumni and local professionals in their field of interest, allowing them to talk to experts about their prospects for the future, which is so important during tough economic times.”

The event is sponsored by the Student Alumni Association, Alumni association, and the Career Center at Moravian College.
