Moravian College to Host Open House for Accepted Students

Moravian College will host an open house for accepted students and their parents on Saturday, April 10th, beginning at 9 a.m. with registration in Johnston Hall on the Main Street Campus. Approximately 500 people are expected to attend the event.

The open house will include academic information sessions on various majors and study areas, a panel discussion hosted by parents whose children attend Moravian, a student life seminar hosted by the Moravian students, an "organization fair" staffed by representatives of campus groups, residence hall information sessions, and a reception and luncheon. The afternoon portion of the program will feature several options, including campus tours and open houses at Reeves Library and the admissions office. Visitors will be welcomed by Moravian College president Dr. Ervin Rokke and the entire Moravian College community at 9:30 a.m. in Johnston Hall.

Many members of the Moravian College community will participate in the open house. Representatives of the 26 Points student ambassador organization will lead visitors on campus tours, while residence hall staff members will speak on dormitory life. Also, commuter students will discuss how to be involved on campus as a commuter. The event is open to students who have been accepted for admission to Moravian College. For reservations or more information, call the college admissions office at (610) 861-1320.
