Moravian College Accounting Students Receive PICPA Recognition

Bethlehem, Pa., June 26, 2008—Moravian College students Nadine Johnson ’09, Tamaqua, Pa. and Jonathan Ritter ’10, Allentown, Pa. were both awarded the Lehigh Valley Chapter of PICPA Scholarship.This is the first year that the Lehigh Valley Chapter has awarded scholarships to two accounting students from Lehigh Valley institutions.

In addition, accounting major Gail Heffelfinger ’09 Allentown, Pa. took third place in the 2008 PICPA manuscript competition. Of the 18 Pennsylvania schools to submit manuscripts, Moravian College was the only school in the Lehigh Valley to win this year’s competition.
