Bethlehem, Pa., August 26, 2008—The 30-member Voloshky Ukrainian Dance Ensemble will bring their dynamic blend of art and energy to the Foy Concert Hall on the Hurd Campus of Moravian College on Saturday, September 13, at 7:30 p.m. The troupe creates a spellbinding show that reflects the spirit and character of the Ukrainian people.
Founded in 1972, Voloshky’s goal has been to develop and maintain a dance company of the highest standards. The troupe performs with vitality and joy that leap from the stage and has earned notoriety for the vigor and resplendence of its performances. The Voloshky style is bold, powerful, and dazzles with athleticism.
The Voloshky Ensemble is committed to sharing the wealth of Ukrainian dance and folklore. With every performance, the ensemble imparts an awareness and appreciation of Ukrainian dance, traditions, and culture.
