Moravian College Junior Receives NACA Scholarship for Leadership

Bethlehem, Pa., September 9, 2008—Moravian College junior Kelly Schneider recently received the East Coast Undergraduate Scholarship for Student Leaders for 2008 from the National Association of College Activities, or NACA.   Schneider first learned of this scholarship at the convention held by NACA in St. Louis. She and was awarded it based on her work as late-night co-chair of the campus event planning committee IMPACT.

Schneider is a history and elementary education major from Macungie, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, the History Club, and Twenty-Six Points, as well as serving as a student trustee and secretary of the history honor society Phi Alpha Theta.  Last year, she won the Rising Star award for Outstanding Sophomore Leader.  Her NACA scholarship will be announced in the November/December issue of the magazine Programming.
