Bethlehem, Pa., September 12, 2008—Moravian College will host a presentation by Martin Till, publisher of The Express-Times, on September 16 at 7 p.m. in the Arena Theater. Till will be discussing leadership as it relates to his life story. This event is sponsored by the Leadership Center and the Career Center, along with the Moravian College Business and Industry Council, a group of area business leaders who are committed to bridging the gap between the College and the business community.
Till has a well-formed past in the leadership and journalism worlds. He served as retail marketing manager/classified advertising manager at the News Journal in Wilmington, Delaware, followed by his time as an advertising director for the Argus Leader in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. From 1996 to 1998, he was vice president of sales and marketing for the York Newspaper Co.
Till became CEO, president and publisher of Easton Publishing in January 1998. The group includes The Express-Times, a 50,000-circulation daily, four weekly newspapers and several specialty products. He is often a discussion leader at conventions for the American Press Institute.
All are welcome to attend. The Arena Theater is located in the lower level of the Haupert Union Building. A dessert reception in the HUB lounge will follow the presentation.
