The Health Center provides a variety of medical services for students during the fall and spring terms. The Center is under the management of St. Luke’s Hospital.

The Health Center is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Staff includes Jamie Marie Chapman, MSPAS, PA-C; and Stella Gordon, RN. Maheep Vikram, MD has office hours by appointment. Cheryl Lichner, MSN, CRNP provides gyn services by appointment.

If medical care is required when the College Health Center is closed, students may visit the St. Luke’s North at 153 Brodhead Road. The phone number there is 954-3000. This facility is open Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 noon. Also, the emergency room at St. Luke’s Hospital treats emergency cases 24-hours a day. Students should inquire about fees.

All students must submit a completed medical form to the Health Center in accordance with the stated deadline. Specific immunizations required are a tetanus-diphtheria booster within the last ten years; two doses of MMR vaccine, one between 12 months and five years of age and the other after age five; a polio immunization series; a tuberculin test within the past year; hepatitis B vaccine; varicella vaccine; and Menomune vaccine.
