Special Topics Courses

With the help of faculty advisors, some students develop independent or field study projects that take them into community agencies, public schools, or the corporate world. Others join faculty and community members in study tours to other parts of the United States or to other countries. Some enroll in one-, two-, or three-credit courses not offered as part of the regular (one-unit/four-credit) curriculum. Other students engage in non-credit activities that enhance their academic skills, such as field-targeted computer courses or employment preparation skills.
