Eduardo Azzati directs the treble talents of the women of Moravian in works for women's voices by Debussy, Faure, Poulenc, and Saint-Saens. Will there be some tunes to honor St. Patrick on his day? Only those in attendance will find out!

Karl Stirner: Transformations - Works in Steel

Transformations - Works in Steel

A retrospective of the life work of 88-year-old sculptor Karl Stirner of Easton. Stirner's reputation in Lehigh Valley arts, especially in the city of Easton, is immense. There's even a section of the city named for him ? the Karl Stirner Arts Trail. The German-born Stirner started his art career at 23 as a professional drafter and then went on to teach at Tyler School of Art and Moore and Swarthmore colleges. His work has been shown at the Museum of Modern Art, the Corcoran and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, to name a few. Expect to see an exhibition of large- and medium-size steel sculptures and at least a dozen drawings.

Celebrating Moravian Women

During Women's History Month, as is our tradition, we would like to celebrate the talents of the women of the Moravian College community - faculty, students, staff, alumnae - in our annual exhibition in the H. Holi Day Celebration

Holi Day is an ancient festival of India where a carnival of colors and community come together to celebrate the triumph of good over evil and the traditions of ancient spring rituals. You will get a variety of colors on yourself and your clothing. Pick up free tickets at 1105 Main Street. Sponsored by Office of International Studies and The International Club.
