Hydrogen-Powered Bus to Stop at Moravian’s  Energy Policy Class

Bethlehem, Pa., April 20, 2009—A hydrogen-powered bus from Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. will make a stop at Moravian College on Tuesday, April 21 from 12:50 to 2:00 p.m. Hydrogen bus ambassadors from Air Products will visit the energy policy class of Political Science Professor John Reynolds in Comenius Hall to discuss the benefits of hydrogen fuel. After a brief presentation, students will be invited to ride on the bus.

Air Products, a leader in hydrogen fueling and infrastructure development, maintains a hydrogen fueling station and two hydrogen-powered buses as part of a Hydrogen Education Initiative. The Hydrogen Education Initiative, funded largely by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and managed by the Da Vinci Science Center of Allentown, Pa.  The program is to promote energy independence, a cleaner environment, and educate the public on the benefits of, and advancements in, developing a hydrogen economy.
