If you are interested in applying for admission to Moravian College for the 2013-2014 academic year, please contact the Admissions Office directly at 610.861.1320
Students interested in Moravian College should submit an application for admission during the fall or winter of their senior year in high school. A nonrefundable fee of $40 must accompany the paper application. Although an interview is not required, candidates should make every effort to visit the Moravian campus to discuss their enrollment plans with an admissions counselor. Such visits, including the interview, typically take place after April 1 of the student’s junior year and before February 15 of his or her senior year.
Since an audition is required for admission to the music major, students who are planning to major in music at Moravian should arrange an audition with the Music Department directly by calling 610-861-1650. (Music Student Requirements)
Prospective art majors are required to submit a portfolio of their work along with their application for admission. (Portfolio Requirements)
We encourage you to start the application process as soon as possible. If you have identified Moravian as your first choice, we invite you to apply under one of our Early Decision plans. The deadline for Early Decision I is December 1, 2013, and the deadline for Early Decision II is January 15, 2014. For further details, please visit www.moravian.edu/apply. Early Decision applicants should submit their $400 non-refundable enrollment deposit no later than two weeks following acceptance to the College. Please note that acceptance under Early Decision is binding and students who are accepted Early Decision agree to enroll at Moravian College.
Students are encouraged to apply for admission through Regular Decision early in their senior year. For further details, please visit www.moravian.edu/apply. Regular Decision applicants have until May 1 to submit an enrollment deposit, although we encourage students who are ready to choose Moravian to submit the deposit at any point following acceptance (the enrollment deposit of $400 is non-refundable, regardless of when it is received).
Students who apply under our Early Decision plans are eligible to receive an estimate of their financial aid award with the submission of an Early Estimate Financial Aid Application and 2012 tax returns and W-2 forms. Families who receive an Early Estimate will still need to complete the FAFSA and Moravian Institutional Form to formally apply for financial assistance. The Early Estimate Financial Aid Application will be available the first week in September and the Financial Aid Office will begin making estimated awards October 1st. Students can expect to receive their estimated financial aid award within 3 weeks of submitting the required documents.
