Areas of Research and/or Expertise

Applied Microconomics [Economics of Crime (dissertation), Process Improvement, Applications for Intermediate Microeconomices (Gasoline)], Not-for-Profit Management [Board Service], Classroom Computer Applications [Statistics Labs, Spreadsheet Applications, Gaussian (Normal) Distribution Simulator].


Dr. Brower is currently writing a book for courses like EC156: Economic and Business Statistics. It is called Data Analysis and Statistics for Economists and Managers, and students in EC156 use it for their text.

He is also the Director of the College's Certificate in Production and Inventory Management, offered in partnership with the Lehigh Valley Chapter of APICS

Dr. Brower serves on the Executive Board of the Minsi Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America; he has served as Vice President (Program) and as Chairman of the Training and Advancement Committees. He served on the Board of Trustees of Hugh Moore Historical Park and Museums, Inc., including two years as its Chairman. Hugh Moore Park operates The National Canal Museum at Two Rivers Landing, Easton, PA, with Binney & Smith, Inc. and the City of Easton, PA. He is also a past President of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of APICS: The Educational Society for Resource Management.
