Adult health, critical care nursing.
Dr. August-Brady has been teaching nursing students for more than ten years. Since the inception of the baccalaureate program, Michele has served as curriculum coordinator and leads the faculty in areas related to curriculum development. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Science degree at Widener University. Her doctoral work and dissertation are a reflection of her interest the teaching-learning process and she has investigated factors that promote more meaningful learning. Having a strong commitment and enthusiasm for teaching and learning, she received the Excellence in Teaching award at St. Luke's Hospital in 1996. Past practice experience includes staff, management and clinical education positions within the context of critical care.
