Seventeen Inducted Into Art Honors Fraternity at Moravian College
Bethlehem, Pa., May 5, 2009—Moravian College recently inducted seventeen students into the Zeta Psi chapter of Kappa Pi, the International Art Honors Fraternity at Moravian College. Kappa Pi recognizes art majors who have attained a high level of artistic and academic achievement. Opportunities are provided for its members to perform voluntary service to the College and local community through artistic means.
Those to receiving the honor were Kaitlyn Boyer ’10, Oley, Pa.; Jessica Carlini ’09, Bethlehem, Pa.; Susan Corallo ’10, Easton, Pa.; Kristen Ditchko ’10, Berkley Heights, N.J.; Rebecca Friedman ’10, Washington, N.J.; Kristine George ’08, Northampton, Pa.; Laura Hullfish ’10, Lawrenceville, N.J.; Taylor Leonard ’10, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Melissa Marcin ’10, Clark, NJ; Rachel Matus ’10, Doylestown, Pa.; Stephanie Mount ’10, Conshohocken, Pa.; Caitlin Nelson ’09, Hellertown, Pa.; Flora Robertson ’10, Hawley, Pa.; Aliina Ross ’10, Paoli, Pa.; Julie Roxbury ’10, Branchburg, NJ; Nicole Shamy ’10, Easton, Pa.; and Jessica Wolfe ’09, Bethlehem, Pa.
Kappa Pi was founded in 1911 at the University of Kentucky. Since then, 167 chapters have been developed at colleges and universities throughout the country and abroad. Anne Dutlinger, chair of the Art Department, is the advisor of the Moravian College chapter. Dutlinger, along with Dr. Diane Radycki and Gerard Maynard, sponsor this fraternity.
