Hip Hop Artist Fabolous to Perform at Moravian College – Nov. 16

Bethlehem, Pa., October 12, 2007–Hip hop artist Fabolous will perform at Moravian College on Friday, November 16 in Johnston Hall, Main Street Campus.  Teen vocalist, Kat DeLuna, and her colorful sound blending hip-hop, R&B, Merengue, Pop, Latin, Jazz and Electronica and dance, will kick-off the show.  Johnston Hall doors open at 7:00 pm and the entertainment starts at 8:00 p.m.

John Jackson, aka Fabolous, is one of hip-hops most prominent, popular artists.  Fabolous recorded two  platinum albums (2001’s Ghetto Fabolous, 2003’s Street Dreams) and one Gold album (2004’s Real Talk).  His most recent album, From Nothin’ to Somethin’,  was released in June, 2007, and reached number 2 on The Billboard 200.  Fabolous is currently under the legendary Def Jam label.

Fabolous’ first single from his most recent album “Make Me Better” is produced by Grammy Award winning producer Timbaland and features Fabolous doing what he does best; blending radio ready sound beds with clever and memorable lyrics.

Kat DeLuna’s debut album was released this summer which featured the smash hit “Whine Up.”
