Acting Workshop - "Embracing A Rainbow (and other Impossible Pastimes)"

An acting workshop for people interested in the elusive play of performing and creativity. This workshop will be an introduction to the art of being (and remaining) present through action, engaging the mind, the body, and the voice. It will involve movement, speech, and singing. Be prepared to work barefoot and wear clothing that will allow free movement. Please come with two lines of memorized text, preferably something you have not used in performance. The text need not be from a play (it might even come from a science textbook...)
