E.A.T. - Experiments in Art and Technology
E.A.T. was officially launched in 1967 by the engineers Billy Kluver and Fred Waldhauer and the artists Robert Rauschenberg and Robert Whitman. Ten New York artists worked with Thirty engineers and scientists from the world renowned Bell Telephone Laboratories to create groundbreaking performances that incorporated new technology and art. This exhibition will feature some of those early collaborations including works by Warhol, Rauschenberg, and Whitman.

Moravian College Community Orchestra
Pennsylvania Performing Artist Jesus Morales, cello, joins Maestro Spieth and the Moravian College Community Orchestra in Edward Elgar's Concerto for Cello and Orchestra, Op. 85. Hailing from Puerto Rico, Mr. Morales lives in eastern Pennsylvania and performs with the Dali String Quartet, Lancaster Symphony, Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra, and the Baltimore Symphony. Additional works on the evening's program include: Bernstein's Overture to Candide; Debussy's Afternoon of a Faun; and Saint-Saens' Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah. This concert is sponsored in part by Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour and Moravian College Arts & Lectures. There will be a pre-concert lecture at 6 PM in Foy Concert Hall (no additional charge). Conducted by Donald Spieth.
