Moravian College offers a variety of opportunities for students to be apart of musical and theatrical organizations on campus. Membership is open to all students by audition.
Moravian College Big Band
The Moravian College Big Band performs jazz repertoire from a wide variety of eras and styles. The group performs each semester and has shared the stage with such guest artists as Stanley Turrentine, Ravi Coltrane, and Thelonious Monk Jr.. Membership is by audition. There is a student director that assists in administering the group.

Moravian College Choir
The Moravian Choir is a mixed vocal ensemble of 70-80 voices, which rehearses in Peter Hall on South Campus from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the academic year. The ensemble is featured at the Christmas Vespers services in December and presents a major work of the choral repertory with orchestra in April. The choir has toured the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Open to all students by audition. Ability to sightsing helpful but not required. LinC or elective credit available.

Moravian College Community Orchestra
The Moravian College Community Orchestra is composed of students, faculty, staff, and community performers. The orchestra performs symphonic repertory from all periods. Membership is by audition. LinC or elective credit available. See the Music Department website for details.

Moravian College Dance Company
The Moravian College Dance Company is an outlet for students to explore the artistic dimensions of modern dance, jazz, tap, and ballet. Students audition for the company in early September. During the fall semester, the dancers take two weekly technique classes, perform at Homecoming, and attend professional performances/workshops. In the spring semester, the emphasis is on choreography and rehearsal for the annual March concert.

Moravian College Greyhound Marching Band
The Moravian College Greyhound Marching Band performs at all home football games, the Homecoming Parade, and other fall parades and events. Band Camp is the week before the fall term. LinC or elective credit available.

The Moravian College Theatre Company produces 2-6 student and faculty directed productions in the Arena Theatre each year.

The Moravian College Wind Ensemble performs wind-band literature from all periods. The ensemble has toured the region, the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Membership is by audition. Moravian College Women’s Chorus
The Moravian College Women’s Chorus consists of 40-50 voices and rehearses 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesdays. Often tours with the Choir and Wind Ensemble. Open by audition. LinC or elective credit available.

Vocalis
Vocalis is a small a cappella vocal ensemble of about 12-16 students that performs a wide range of musical styles—from the Renaissance to Contemporary to vocal jazz. Open to all students by audition. All participants must be a member of the Moravian Choir.
