Moravian College Community Orchestra to Perform Works of Beethoven, Borodin, Ravel
Bethlehem, Pa., February 8, 2011--The Moravian College Community Orchestra will be joined by Linda Louise Kistler, violin, David Moulton, cello, and Martha Schrempel, piano, to perform Beethoven’s Triple Concerto on Sunday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m. in Foy Concert Hall. Donald Spieth will conduct the orchestra as they perform Borodin's Polovetsian Dances from Prince Igor and Ravel's Bolero.
Violinist Linda Louise Kistler is an artist lecturer in violin at Moravian. Cellist David Moulton is an artist lecturer in the cello at Moravian. Pianist Martha Schrempel is an artist lecturer in the piano at Moravian. The conductor, Donald Spieth is an artist-in-residence at Moravian.
Admission for the concert is $10 general admission and $5 for seniors and students. Advance tickets can be purchase online at: http://www.lvartsboxoffice.org/.
