Bethlehem, Pa., February 10, 2011--The talented students of the music honors society Delta Omicron will present their Spring Musicale on Sunday, February 13 at 4:00 p.m. in Peter Hall. Delta Omicron students will perform a wide variety of music from Classical to Jazz, from vocal to instrumental, from solo to ensemble.

The Gamma Pi chapter of Delta Omicron, started in 1995, welcomes music majors and minors with at least a 3.0 music grade point average and at least a 2.0 overall grade point average. Members participate in numerous service projects, take part in community outreach events, and are very musically active, in order to create and foster fellowship through music. The music honors fraternity accepts new members every spring semester. Delta Omicron also hosts several musical performances throughout the year, including Musicales and Delta Omicron Performance Classes, which showcase and feature the talents of its members. Dr. Hilde Binford is faculty advisor of the music honors fraternity, which presently has thirty members.
