Moravian College Wind Ensemble to Perform February 25

Concert part of Celebrating CHINA|IN FOCUS program

Bethlehem, Pa., February 10, 2011-- Moravian College Wind Ensemble Instrumental Concerto Competition winner Caitlin Worrich ’12, Bethlehem, Pa., trombone, will be the feature performer during the Wind Ensemble Concert on Friday, February 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Foy Concert Hall.

The concert will be directed by Professor James Barnes, chair of the Music Department. Works to be performed will include Arthur Pryor’s Thoughts of Love, Vaughan Williams’ English Fold Song Suite, marches by Karl King and John Philip Sousa, and a Chinese suite by Hua Yang to celebrate the College’s CHINA | IN FOCUS year- long theme.

Admission for the concert is $10 general admission and $5 for seniors and students. Advance tickets can be purchase online at: http://www.lvartsboxoffice.org/.
