Bethlehem, Pa., March 24, 2011--Guitarist John Arnold will be a featured in a performance of the Moravian College Community Orchestra on Sunday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m. in Foy Concert Hall. The orchestra will be conducted by Donald Spieth. Music to be performed includes Rodrigo's Fantasia para un gentilhombre, Shostakovich's Festival Overture, Op. 96, & Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition (the Ravel arrangement).
Arnold, artist-lecturer in guitar, and Speith, artist-in-residence, are faculty members at Moravian College. The Moravian College Community Orchestra is comprised of students and alumni of Moravian College and members of the local community.
Admission for the concert will be $10 general admission and $5 seniors & students. Tickets can be purchased in advance at http://www.lvartsboxoffice.org/. Foy Concert Hall is located on Moravian College's Hurd Campus in historic Bethlehem. Moravian College encourages persons with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities.
