Bethlehem, Pa., May 16, 2012—The H. Paty Eiffe Gallery at Moravian College will exhibit photography by Richard Begbie titled “Natural Selection.” The exhibit will be displayed through August 17. A reception will be held Sunday, July 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. Admissions is free and the public is welcome to attend. The exhibit, Natural Selection, showcases Begbie’s focus on subject matter that deals specifically in three areas: landscapes (both color and black and white imagery); botanicals (close-up of floras); and architecture (structural design elements).
Begbie’s photographs capture images that relate to his immediate surroundings in nature. He is concerned about contrasting elements of shadow and light, foreground and distance, linear and spatial relationships. For more information, visit his website at http://richardbegbiephotography.com.
H. Paty Eiffe Gallery is located in the Haupert Union Building on the main campus of Moravian College The Gallery is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Admission and parking are free, and the Gallery is wheelchair accessible.
