Graphic Design, Typography, Historic London Buses.
Kirsli is knowledgable in all areas of graphic design but has a special interest in typography and the design of letterforms, which she emphasizes in her classes. She has also done work and researching in branding and has developed branding projects for her classes. Kirsli completed her master’s thesis on Historic London Buses, creating new designs for bus publicity; she maintains a special interest in British design and iconography.
Before moving to London to complete her graduate work, Kirsli worked as a graphic designer for Bookazine, Bayonne, NJ, where she received awards for two major book catalogs. As the sole designer, she was responsible for creating book catalogues, website designs, branding, flyers and trade show displays for many different types of publications. She also did freelance work for a wide variety of clients and taught graphic design as an adjunct. Kirsli now teaches Typography, Publication Design, Portfolio Seminar and History and Practice as well as several Independent Studies in specialized areas. Her current work includes working with memories, birds and letterforms.
