Moravian Proud
A President's Perspective

“Whatever I have achieved in my life started during my four years at Moravian.”

- Bryon L. Grigsby ’90

The day that I was named president of Moravian College was the greatest moment of my professional career.

It was not so much about attaining the position as it was the opportunity to come back to serve my alma mater, my soul mother, to serve a campus and educational environment that gave me so very much. Whatever I have achieved in my life started during my four years at Moravian and I will forever be grateful to the faculty and fellow students that were a part of this wonderful experience.

Those of you who are alumni can relate to this experience that we shared. For those reading this who are not alumni, please be assured that what happens in the four years that a student attends Moravian is very special. Our students leave here with a much better sense of themselves, their community, and the world around them. Most importantly, they take this experience and become true change agents to make our society better.

Please take a minute to look at what some of our recent graduates are doing. Our students are truly exceptional and are deserving of our support.

Join me by making a gift to ensure that all of our students have a shared experience that will make them Moravian Proud.

Ten Reasons to Give

What is Annual Giving?

Annual Giving is the LIFEBLOOD of any college or university. It is financial support from alumni, friends, parents, faculty, and staff every year that keeps Moravian strong.

Annual Giving falls into TWO categories: unrestricted giving—gifts in support of the college budget—and restricted giving— gifts to support a specific area of the College.

UNRESTRICTED gifts give Moravian discretion to address its most pressing needs. The College has identified financial aid as its most urgent need and created the Moravian Scholarship Fund to provide financial support for qualified students.

RESTRICTED gift areas include academic programs, athletics, career preparation, and more, providing many opportunities to give to what’s important to you: your personal reason to give.
