Bethlehem, Pa., November 13, 2013—Moravian College's English Department will be hosting a Social for students on Thursday, November 21 in the Priscilla Payne Hurd Academic Complex (PPHAC), 3rd Floor, Room 203 and Atrium. The event reception will begin at 4:00 p.m., and the Alumni Panel begins at 4:30. The event will be moderated by Joyce Hinnefeld, Chair of the Department of English. Refreshments will be served to all those who attend. Students, faculty, and staff are all welcome.
The panel features various Moravian Alumni who majored in English and found various jobs in the field of publishing, communications, and marketing. They include:
These alumni will each share their stories as to how they completed their major at Moravian and how they continued on their career paths after college. It will be interesting for prospective English majors to learn what they can do with their major in regards to finding work after graduation.
