Moravian to Showcase Student Ensembles – November 21

Bethlehem, Pa., November 17, 2005— Moravian College will showcase its student musical talent at the Student Ensembles Concert on Monday, November 21. The Percussion Ensemble, Woodwind Trio, Piano Trio, Flute and Guitar Duo, and Flute Trio will perform at 7:30 p.m. at Foy Concert Hall. The venue is a part of Moravian’s Priscilla Payne Hurd Campus, located at the corner of Main and Church Streets in Bethlehem. Admission is $6.

The Percussion Ensemble is made up of Rachel McCausland, Shannon Kilpatrick, and member-conductor Steven Mathiesen. The Woodwind Trio, under the direction of Deborah Andrus, is comprised of Stephanie Widger on flute, Rachel Stapleton on oboe, and Eric Weiss on clarinet. Weiss and Widger are also members of the Piano Trio, where they are joined by pianist MacKenzie Cameron under director Dr. Arianna Goldina. John Arnold conducts the Flute and Guitar Duo of flutist Kathryn Washer and guitarist James Schultheis.
