Faculty, Alumni, Students to Perform with Allentown Symphony Chorus

Allentown Symphony HallBethlehem, Pa., March 3, 2014—A number of Moravian College faculty members, alumni, and students will perform with the Allentown Symphony Chorus during the Allentown Symphony Orchestra’s presentation of Mozart Requiem on Saturday, March 8 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, March 9 at 3 p.m. The concert will be held in Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Eduardo Azzati, Artist-Lecturer in Voice and Conducting and Director of the Moravian College Women's Chorus is the chorus master of the Allentown Symphony Chorus (ASC). He has prepared the ASC for the upcoming performances of the Mozart Requiem with the Allentown Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestra Diane Wittry, Artistic Director and Conductor of the ASO.

Moravian College alumni performing include Carole Burkhardt '82 (alto section leader), Jennifer Sheeto '00 (alto). Laura Gordon '99 '13 (alto). Current students include Heidi New '15 (alto college scholar), Cody Shuch '16 (bass college scholar), and Michael McAndrew '15 (bass).

Among the ranks of the orchestra are Moravian College Artist-Lecturers Inna Eyzerovich, Associate Concertmaster; Audrey Simons, cello; Robin Kani, flute; Deborah Andrus, clarinet; Larry Right, trumpet; Ron Demke, tuba/associate conductor.
