Moravian College holds services and activities for Lent

(Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) - As Ash Wednesday and the Easter season of Lent approach, Moravian College has scheduled a number of events to celebrate the spiritual season.

On Ash Wednesday, March 5, an ecumenical service will be held at 5:45 p.m. in Borhek Chapel of Comenius Hall, Moravian College. Prior to this day, a Lenten Spiritual Packet containing daily prayers, meditations, spiritual exercises, and other information on Lent was made available to the campus community. Mass is being held daily in the Haupert Union Building at 12:10 p.m. Confessions are heard before mass or by appointment

A day of recollection at St. Fancis Renewal Center will be held on Saturday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monsignor Alfred Schlert will give a presentation entitled “Everything You Want to Know about Marriage and Are Afraid to Ask” at a fellowship dinner. The details of this dinner are to be announced.
