Bethlehem, Pa., November 10, 2004 – Ross J. Born, co-president of Just Born, Inc., will present, “Sweet Strategies of Financial Success: From a Business Owner’s Perspective,” on Monday, November 22, at 6:30 p.m. in the UBC Room, Haupert Union Building. The Moravian College Personal Financial Planning Certificate Program is sponsoring the seminar which is free and open the public.
Ross J. Born is an Allentown native who has been co-president of Just Born, Inc., since 1978. A graduate of Tufts University, Born received a law degree from Hofstra School of Law.
Just Born, Inc. is a family-owned confectionery company. Founded in 1923 in Brooklyn, New York, the company moved to Bethlehem in 1932. The company manufactures such products as Mike & Ike®, Hot Tamales®, Zours and Teenee Beanee® gourmet jelly beans as well as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Halloween and Easter Peeps® and Bunnies.
The Personal Financial Planning Certificate Program is part of Moravian College’s Continuing and Graduate Studies program. Designed for students interested in pursuing a career in personal financial planning, the PFP program equips students with technical knowledge and proficiency in areas such as insurance, investment, employee benefits, and retirement, estate, and tax planning. Candidates are rigorously prepared for the CFP® Certification Examination given by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., the most prestigious certification in the financial planning community.
