Bethlehem, Pa., February 11, 2008—Student athletes at Moravian College will be holding a Moravian College Kids Camp on Saturday, February 16. The camp is an opportunity for children to participate in different activities, learning to play various sports and build sport-specific skills.
The camp is being sponsored by the Moravian Student Advisory Committee (SAACS), which is comprised of student athletes from each Moravian athletic team. “The SAAC’s hope is that that the kids will leave the camp with a great understanding of how teams can work together to accomplish a goal. Hopefully, they will enjoy working with college athletes and will learn a thing or two about a new sport they have never experienced,” said SAAC member Erica Spatz.
The cost of the camp is $20.00 per child or $30.00 per family. The camp will be held in Johnston Hall on the Moravian campus and runs from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For more information contact Beverly Beaver at email@example.com.
