Greek Life

Fraternity and Sorority Life has been a tradition at Moravian University for over 100 years. Approximately 20 percent of Moravian students are members of one of the University’s five national sororities, three national fraternities, or one local fraternity. Members of the fraternity and sorority community are involved in all aspects of campus life and often hold campus leadership positions.

Fraternities and sororities are values-based organizations dedicated to the development of character and leadership. Each organization subscribes to a specific set of core values and beliefs that incorporate concepts of brotherhood or sisterhood, service to the University and community, scholarship, leadership, and building relationships congruent with the specific organization’s ideals and traditions. Two of our national fraternities and sororities are culturally-based organizations. These organizations have been founded on the basis of not just an acceptance of diversity, but a celebration of diversity amongst us all.

From college days onward, affiliation with a Greek letter organization can be a positive, meaningful, and life-shaping experience.
