What do you like most about Moravian College?: I like how Moravian is a small college because it gives me the opportunity to get to know my professors. The benefit of knowing my professors is that they are able to help me make connections with other people outside the college that could be influential to me in my future. Also, I like being known by my name and not a number; having my professors know who I am is very important to me.
What is your favorite “on campus” food?: Usually I go over to the Red Hot Chef to see what the special of the day is because a lot of the time there are some amazing things there like pork stir-fry, banana foster, a fondue bar…I could go on for hours.
What are some of your favorite weekend activities (on campus or in the community)?: Most of the time I go out and do some minor shopping with my friends, go to the movies at the Promenade, hang out in one of my friends’ rooms and watch movies or play games, go home with some of my friends who live near by, and I would save all my homework for Sunday…probably not the smartest idea.
Hobbies/interests? Singing, dancing, waiting tables, exploring the area because it is new to me, rollerblading, cooking (I’m so happy I have a kitchen this year!), and spending time with my friends. One thing I learned last year was that you need to find time to have fun. Although, doing school work is important, it is also essential that you do things you enjoy. Finding the balance between the two will make your time in college more satisfying.
