The past four years of my life have been and will continue to be unforgettable, I made some amazing friends, met some really great people, learned a lot, experienced the world, learned about love and heartbreak, most of all I discovered who I am and the things that I value. In a large part Moravian College has attributed to these experiences either enabling them as in the Washington semester and going abroad to Turkey, Balkans and Europe or being the immediate reason for the experience, such as amazing classes, professors and friends. With the semester coming to a close I look back on my four years of college and I can say without a doubt that I have no regrets. I took advantage of many opportunities which allowed me to have a very fulfilling college career both as a student and a person.
These past few weeks I realized I have been trying to get in a lot of last minute experiences with old and new friends alike who have really made my experience amazing. I am really happy that I realized right away that it’s not where you are, but who you are with that makes college or any situation great. Even so I find myself scrabbling to spend time with each and every one of my friends so they know that they really made my college experience wonderful. I think President Thomforde said it best at the senior wine and cheese dinner, “Make sure that you tell all your friends that you love them and what they mean to you before it’s too late”. I am going to try and do that before this is all over; thankfully after finials my friends and I are going camping and then coming back for senior week to just enjoy hanging out with each other.
I am sad to see this chapter of my life come to a close, but I know that the experiences that I have had these past four years have prepared me for the future. For this reason, I welcome the challenges that are upcoming.
