I can’t believe that this is the last week of classes already, this year has flown by! Even though this week has been a little crazy when I graduate I am going to miss pulling all-nighters to get my work done and studying for tests. I know it sounds crazy by after being in school for 19 years of my life it is going to be hard to be part of the real world where there are no lectures, tests or handouts telling you everything you need to know.
Though this is the last week of classes we still have finals next week and graduation is only two weeks away. It really is hard to believe how extremely fast this year flew by. After a year of hard classes, great housemates, and friends that have become even closer it is hard to know that it is all coming to an end.
I’ve spent the last four years of my life at Moravian and it is hard to picture my life without all of the people who made these last few years so unforgettable. Though this isn’t the end and I will still see my friends it is hard to know that I won’t live with them and see them at least three times a week like I have over the last four years.
Some of the best moments of my life happened right here on Moravian’s campus so the only advice I can offer someone who is coming here as a freshman is to keep an open mind and don’t let the little things get in the way of you friendships. I know that we all have had a great experience here and I look forward to keeping in touch with all my friends and seeing where life takes them.
But for now I am just going to try and enjoy my last two weeks on Moravian’s beautiful campus because I know these are some of the best days of my life as sad as I am to see them end it excites me because though it will be sad to leave my friends behind I look forward to everything that life has in store for me.
To all the 2009 graduates congrats on making it this far and good luck with everything that life brings your way. Here’s to us!
