See Faculty Artwork Now through April 18

"Ophelia's Redemption" (2010) by Krista Steinke, digital C-print, 30"x40"

Come see the exciting new work of Art Department faculty members at the Biennial Moravian College Faculty Show. The exhibit explores a wide range of work using traditional methods and cutting-edge technologies.

This year introduces the newest member of the faculty, Kristin Baxter, who leads the track in art education.

Today, April 8, faculty members will talk about their work and inspiration in a series of 15-minute lunchtime and late afternoon talks at Payne Gallery. Lunchtime brown bag talks (noon-12:45 p.m.) will begin with an introduction by Diane Radycki and Dave Leidich, followed by presentations by Krista Steinke, Angela Fraleigh, and Chris Neyen. From 4:00-6:00 p.m., Kristin Baxter, Barbara Kozero, Michael Burmeister, Jan Crooker, Jan Ciganick, Kris Kotsch, Doug Zucco, Aron Johnston, and Ted Colegrove will discuss their displayed work; light refreshments will be served.

Admission to the art faculty exhibition is free. The Payne Gallery is open 12-4:00 p.m. daily, except Mondays, major holidays, and college breaks.
