The Moravian College Accounting Club held its annual awards ceremony April 25 in the HUB Pavilion. After a reception and dinner, guest speakers Keith R. Bachman '88, CPA, CVA and Michael J. Gallagher '58, CPA, both partners with ParenteBeard, LLC, addressed the audience of nearly 100 students, alumni, family, and friends.
Gallagher and Bachman were honored for their career achievements with the Pinnacle Award; Michael A. Caffrey III '05, CPA, audit supervisor for McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, received the Young Accounting Alumni Award.
Advisor John Rossi, associate professor of accounting, cultivates ties with Moravian's alumni accountants, who serve as mentors for accounting students. Rossi and Barbara Vinciguerra, assistant professor of accounting, hosted the event and presented awards.
