An article by Grace Ji-Sun Kim, associate professor of doctrinal theology at Moravian Theological Seminary, has been published. "Globalization and World Consumption: An Ethical Theological Discourse" appears in Forum on Public Policy Online, Vol 2010 no 3. (September 2010).
Dana S. Dunn, professor of psychology, recently reviewed the Psychology Department at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pa. Seton Hill is a small Catholic liberal arts university originally founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1885. The institution has been in the news lately because, starting this fall, all students and faculty members were given iPads for use in and out of the classroom.
Gary Kaskowitz, associate professor of management, was quoted in a Denver Post article about the use of celebrity names to promote home furnishings. The article "Name-brand: Furniture design by the famous" appeared September 4.
Professor Kaskowitz also was a guest on the Sherman Baldwin radio show, WTMY-1280 in Sarasota, September 17. He was interviewed about his book, Brand It Like Barack, regarding the mid-term elections and the "covert tricks politicians use."
William Kleintop, associate dean of business and management programs at the Comenius Center, was quoted in"The Path to Lifelong Learning," an article that appeared in the September issue of Lehigh Valley Marketplace, a Morning Call magazine supplement.
Jim West, professor and chair of economics and business, was interviewed for the WFMZ-TV story "Report: Economic Recession Ended in June," which appeared September 20.
