Twenty-three seniors took a major step toward reaching their career goals January 14 and 15, when  they participated in "Backpack to Briefcase," an interactive two-day program coordinated by the Career Center. The conference-style program, which aims to help student participants build a solid foundation for their professional future, included presentations by industry professionals who donated their time and expertise.

Presentations by PPL, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Mars Chocolate North America, Lafayette Ambassador Bank, and Moravian College's Human Resources Department covered topics such as professional communication, job benefits, managing personal finances, and online job searches. Students also participated in mock interviews and resume reviews offered by human resource professionals from both private industry and non-profit organizations. Capping off the event was a lively and upbeat five-course dinner presented by an expert in dining and interview etiquette.
