The Write Stuff

Adam Spaugh ’05, Lawrenceville, Ga., and Sara Suleman ’05, Karachi, Pakistan, will share the $100 Lebensfeld Prize for best Writing 100 essay of the fall semester. Megan McKee ’05, Schuykill Haven, takes honorable mention.

Spaugh’s “The Art of Life” was written for Carole Brown’s section, “Young Children at Risk”; Suleman’s “Picture of My Grandmother” for Joel Wingard’s “Praxis: Becoming a Writer.” McKee wrote “Beauty vs. Brutality” for Martha Reid’s “Shakespeare on Film.”
