The January 29 InCommon was put together in a tearing hurry, which explains (but does not excuse):

• Patricia A.C. Glazebrook’s incorrect middle initial.
• Omission of Last Lists of My Mad Mother and the Dave Roth Trio from Datebook: An Idiosyncratic Calendar.

Happy birthday: January 27, when artist-lecturer Martha Schrempel performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto in D minor with the Pennsylvania Sinfonia, was Mozart’s 251st birthday.

Transition: Bob Wilkin, director of dining services since 1997, is moving to a similar position at Lehigh University. Succeeding him will be Mark Kopenhaver.

Casualty list: Ron Kline, director of counseling, was injured February 4 in an accident in York. He expects to be back on campus this week.
