Karen S. Britt is the new assistant dean of continuing and graduate studies. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Pennsylvania State University and has been a faculty member/administrator at Tulsa Community College and the University of Tulsa (Okla.), Northampton Community College, and the evening program at Muhlenberg College. She teaches courses in economics and management at NCC and Penn State Berks-Lehigh Valley College.

Dana S. Dunn, associate professor of psychology, delivered the Harold W. Moon keynote address at the 14th annual Southeastern Teaching of Psychology conference, February 20 in Atlanta. He spoke on “Leading and Teaching in Psychology by Reading and Writing.” About 150 psychology educators attended the meeting, which was held under the auspices of Kennesaw State University in Marietta, Ga.

George Diamond, professor of English, went to the mother of all conferences, the Modern Language Association, December 27-30 in New Orleans. He attended sessions on post-Colonial literature, which he is currently teaching, and science fiction, which will figure in the section of the Social Impact of Science faculty discussion group that he leads in April.
