Not Just Deserts

An annual fund-raiser for the Department of Music, Dessert Theater has its own inside-out logic. Instead of starting with a script, it calls for songs first (Broadway show tunes, popular standards) and writes a script around them.

“This year it takes place in Las Vegas,” says Kristy Bredin ’02, “and features songs from musicals such as Chicago and The Fantasticks and by artists such as Paul Simon and Whitney Houston.”

Admission ($5) includes a selection of delectables. 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, in Peter Hall. Ext. 1650.
