Walk for the Cure

Jackie Karpow ’96, assistant director of student activities and the HUB, and Laila Liepins ’02 plan to take the Avon Three-Day Breast Cancer Walk from Bear Mountain to Manhattan (a distance of 60 miles) next fall. They’ve committed to raise $1,900 apiece in pledges by October 10, and they’re asking the help of the campus community.

There’s a jar for donations at the HUB desk, or you may send a check (also to the HUB desk). In either form, a gift is fully tax-deductible, because every penny goes to breast-cancer research. Information: Liepins, Ext. 6779 or doubleL1979@hotmail.com; Karpow, Ext. 1491 or mejyk01@moravian.edu.
