Weekend
At the 2003 Alumni Weekend (May 30-31), there
are many opportunities for food and fellowship, including
a block party cookout on the plaza of the Hurd Academic Complex.
And of course
there are tours: of both campuses, of the Main Street
campus, of Historic Bethlehem, of all the high-tech bells
and whistles of the Hurd
Academic
Complex. The last, “How the on-line world has changed the life of a Moravian
student,” will be led by Ron Helmuth of CIT and features hands-on use
of classroom multimedia systems and “some really neat toys.”
If
you can’t make it to campus, though, consider a virtual tour: easy
on the feet and just as colorful as the real thing. The tour is by delayed
video,
which will follow the actual events of Alumni Weekend by just a couple of
hours, and is available on line at www.moravian.edu/alumni/aw.
Campus mainstay
Bill Bauman ’74 will receive the Alumni Association’s
Medallion of Merit for his services to the College’s theater, music,
and nursing departments.
Information: Ext. 1366 or alumrel@moravian.edu.
Reservations are due by May 23. |
