New Face in Colonial Hall

Robert Wilson-Black has been named vice president for institutional advancement, succeeding Robert Schoenen.

The new VP comes to Moravian from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, where he has been vice president for development since 2002. While there, he doubled both the endowment (from $8 million to $16 million) and the annual fund (from $1.1 million to $2.85 million).

He holds a B.A. and an M.H. (master of history) from the University of Richmond and an A.M. and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.

His previous experience has been at the University of Chicago (director of College and Graduate Funds), the University of Chicago’s Divinity School, and Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago.
