The Weight, Japanese band, with
jazz drummer Kanatochi. 7:30-8:30 p.m. August 12, Banana Island; noon August 14,
Festplatz. Musikfest. Kanatochi (who works for the mayor of Bethlehem’s sistercity, Tondabayashi) hosted the Moravian
group that went to Japan for May term 2004. The band is in residence at Ohtani Women’s
University, which sends two exchange students to the College in the spring semester.
