For the third consecutive year, the Alumni Association has won an award from its Internet service provider, Harris Publishing, for best online newsletter. It also won Harris’s first award for best broadcast e-mail (an invitation to Alumni Weekend). Harris has more than 300 online clients.
Michael Wilson, director of public relations, set up the original design of the newsletter, and web manager Christie Jacobsen ’00 formats it. She also designs the broadcast e-mails when they use graphics. Content is provided by Alumni House staff.
The Harris award was just one of the reasons Christie received an Impact Award from Bob Two Awards ’netted . . . and What an Impact! Schoenen, vice president for institutional advancement.
Christie turned a becoming shade of cranberry when she saw staff from all departments in Colonial Hall waiting outside Bob’s door. She got the award for her painstaking and never-ending work on the Moravian website.
Staff and faculty alike benefit from her objective eye, sense of design, computer skills, and generous attitude, all of which support her conscientious custodianship of Moravian’s identity on the Web. |
