Housekeeping
Open-door policy: The College
will host the first of its fall open houses on Saturday, September
21. (The other will be October 26.) They start at 9:00 a.m.
in Johnston Hall and include campus tours, academic and financial
aid sessions, and lunch with admissions officers in Colonial
Hall. Information: Lyn Ramsey, Ext. 1320.
On the scales: Weight Watchers
will provide an eight-week program on campus for $72. It will
meet at 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays, starting September 18 (tomorrow).
A noon class may be scheduled if there’s enough interest.
Last spring, the 22 participants lost more than 250 pounds.
