Man of La Mancha

As the kickoff event of Moravian’s observance
of the 400th anniversary of the novel Don Quixote by Miguel Cervantes Saavedra, the
first segment of the three-part film Don Quijote, called the most complete
screen adaptation of the book, will be shown in Prosser Auditorium on Saturday,
October 1. Produced by Radiotele-visión Española, its title character is played
by the great Spanish actor Fernando Rey, best known as the bad guy in The French Connection. The other segments
will be shown October 15 and 22. 7:00-9:00 p.m. Free. Ext. 1611. |
